I'm not fond of giving her such a set hairstyle. Granted chronologically speaking most of her games after Zero Mission have either taken place soon after ZM(Prime series) or took her from that era(Brawl), but then Other M came out and implied a retcon that it was her appearance in II and Super as well. I just see it as a "young Samus" hairstyle.

My main issue is that I like Samus overall looking more generic. I think that's why I'm so fond of that Prime 1 appearance a lot of people hate; stylistially it felt like the equivalent of what the little blonde pixel woman was in II's ending and Super. A generic cypher representation of a woman.
