Why the hell aren't these alphabetized? My first thought was "Where the heck are Beyond Oasis and Alien Soldier?" Middle of the list, of course. Gotta make sure those hits like the version of Sonic 3D Blast that doesn't have a god-tier OST and Altered Beast get top billing!

Organizational issues aside, this is pretty much a list of "hit games that everybody knows about", and a limited list, at that. Glaring lack of shmups, which is quite strange, given that was one of the system's strong points in terms of library. No Verytex, no Thunder Force, no Gley Lancer, no Gaiares, no Grind Stormer/V-V, no Raiden Trad, no Steel Empire, no Battle Mania, no Truxton... Also a lack of action shooters like Mega Turrican and Ranger-X. No Shadowrun, no Splatterhouse, no Strider. No Strider.

This is pretty useless to me. I have most of the games on that list already and the ones that I don't I'd rather play on my actual Mega Drive than emulate, let alone buy to emulate.

Unless you don't own an original console there's no point to this.

ToeJam & Earl: I never played this game but it is often recommended. I watched a couple of gameplay videos on YT but can't figure out what kind of game is it. Looks like a sort of free roaming where your goal is... find stuff?
