What neat little doodads do you have for your systems? Like the Super Gameboy or the 32X. I just got these little speakers for my Genesis. They work okay, but the driver is a bit worn. Does anyone know what kind of drivers these use? I'm looking to fix it.

Look for something with identical size and impedance (Ω). Nice speakers.

I'm also asking because I'm not sure if using more recent drivers would be too much for it.

Faggot

RMS ratings won't really come into play for something of this application. Just eyeball the magnet sizes and pay attention to impedance. You might want to replace both drivers so the sound isn't "cock eyed"

Forgive me for asking, but what is the point of these? Don't most CRTs have pretty decent speakers due to the size a extra space in them?
Still a pretty cool find though, are they 1st party?
>>3381930
Yes they are first party, and from what I read despite lots of televisions having speakers, most of them were mono, where as these would give you stereo. Plus these speakers can work in tandem with the TV speakers.
I have the whole kit for a gg minus the gear to gear cable

Got a pic?

I take that back, I am also missing the original tv tuner a/v cable. I can't find one anywhere.

you are the same anon asking about the drivers? You can open them up and the wattage and impendance should be marked on the magnet. or possibly on the housing. then search the size, and ohms to find a suitable match

oh the battery pack also has a 1800mah rc car battery pack swap.

The model 1 Genesis didn't output stereo through its multi-out port, but it did through a headphone jack at the front. This was before it occurred to anyone to use a cable with a headphone plug at one end and two RCAs at the other end.
