Anyone played Lode Runner 3D?

I played it on famiclone long time ago.
My uncle was great at it.

Lode Runner is one of the all-time classics. Doesn't get enough love these days.

Broderbund in general was one of the extremely solid publishers of the 80s and they had Myst too.

This is the DOS rerelease from 86. The original 84 release was on a self booting disk and is not compatible with VGA cards.

Lode Runner is fun, but Raid on Bungeling Bay is my favorite Broderbund game.

Lode Runner 2 is an amazing game.

I never understood why bomberman became lode runner. Can anyone explain that to me?

I played a little on the Apple IIe's at school.
Didn't get into it much though.

I like it a lot

The levels are creative, although the finish ladders can be in obnoxius spots

How hard is it to run Lode Runner 2 on a Win 7 machine? (Not counting using a virtual machine)

In theory it should run but the installer program is probably 16-bit like most Windows 9x software.

I spent a long time looking for this game and couldn't find it, because I didn't know lode was even a word. Was like Christmas morning when it finally showed up at some card shop in my town

Great game, first one I can think of that thought to get people to make and share their own levels.

Imagine coming up with that idea and implementing it (level editor, etc.) for the first time. That alone makes the game noteworthy, but the game is really fun as well.

Load Runner Mad Monks Revenge was my favorite game as a kid. I wish I could play it again.

I only recently found out what this game was called. I fucking LOVED it growing up, the level editor was amazing.

At least, it felt that way to me.
