I've put it off for as long as I could, but my NES - and soon enough my SNES - game collection has outgrown my space for it and I need to buy a new shelving unit.

Anyone got any recommendations for specific brands/models? I want as snug as fit as possible so I don't want something that looks like the pic I've posted here. Also my basement's wall space is at a bit of a premium so Ideally I'd like a more narrow-but-tall shelf that's about 2 feet wide.

A lot of empty space between those shelves... you could get some more shelves to put in your current unit. That's what I did with mine, got the extra shelves and plugs off ebay.

Get accustomed to cutting tools, screws, wood and home depot then build to your own preferences. If you want anything half decent don't be a lazy fuck, take measurements. Pic related, my perfect hand-built setup for my autism.
