First Kao was ok.
Second Kao was amazing.
Third Kao was a let down for me.

He is.

What makes you say that?

Im not denying that they are good games, I just never see Kao mentioned anywhere. I havent exactly warmed up to his design though. He's kinda creepy on first sight. Maybe an acquired taste.
Ninja-kun had like eighteen thousand games (mostly Japan only, of course) before the turn of the century. The original is still pretty good.

Notable for not having a sequel or re-release when almost every other mascot platformer of that era got one.
The GBA game was hell.

Also notable for extremely salty developers.
Like holy shit don't ever look up what they've done with Plok in recent years or you'll die from second hand embarrassment.

I know. I can't go into detail, but I'm in a situation where I'm forced to publicly approve of a webcomic I strongly dislike.
Magnetic Billiards was really good, though.

Casual reminder that Titus is actually the international version of the french game 'les aventures de moktar" (moktar's adventures).
The original is based on a song, nowadays considered having racist undertones but perfectly fine back then, from the comedian named Lagaf. In the song he was throwing a few offensive stereotypes on arabs and Moktar was a guy who had stolen a scooter and then somehow went to marrakech to free his girlfriend named Zoubida.
The studio probably thought the game wouldn't sell outside of France without changing the character.
