Is Saltybet /vr/ material?
Can we have a Saltybet thread?
I don't know anything about it.
Were there livestreamers before 2000?
There's your answer.

It's fun to watch when you're bored. MUGEN itself came out in it's first form in 1999, true, and thrives on a lot of /vr/ content, but Saltybet itslef doesn't. I'd say it's a grey area for the mods to decide. It'd be more /vr/ related if the majority of the fighters were more well known, but when they show up it's a lot of fun. At any rate, I've never actually bet on anything, but it's fun to watch. I'd enjoy it more if there weren't as many characters from Japanese cartoons I've never heard of.
Don't really see why it should be /vr/ material
Should be /v/ or even /fgg/ if you're desperate

Yeah, I like the focused nature of /vr/. There are plenty of better places to talk about Saltybet. It's a fun topic, but not here.
