NFS3 was my first game when I got my first "high-end" PC back in the day, it was before High Stakes came out. I still love both - obviously NFS 4 is better in many ways, but NFS 3 has its own great music, intro, unique atmosphere, a few unique cars (Italdesign prototype ftw) and of course: personal huge nostalgia factor.in my case. It was probably the game that got me into racing genre, intensified interest in cars and ultimately was one of factors that started a chain reaction which lead to different things - like having hobby outside of gaming and making choices in life.

I don't think I'm a special snowflake, I bet there are many people just like me, hence the nostalgia hype

I like the championship edition on saturn, has the most tracks out of any version and a really great soundtrack. I have a force feedback wheel and the 360 version too, which is also really great but pretty light on content.

Also, Outrun 1 and 2 are god tier, I play 2 at the arcades all the time.
