Are there any good new NES-compatible controllers? Preferably with turbo buttons.

There's not really any good ones, but you can get cheap ones from China. Like $3 shipped. Or you can buy replacement pads and refurb all your old ones.

Are they comfortable to use? The only ones with a 7-pin plug I can find on AliExpress (not counting pure copies of NES-controllers, which don't appeal to me at all) are these Dendy Junior-style controllers. Does anyone know if they are any good?

What's the best NES arcade stick? Should I just get an Advantage?

No. The chinese ones suck. Better off buying replacement pads and refurbing original controllers or getting an adapter to connect alternate controllers.
