What is the best game store in NYC that sells retro games?
Videogamesnewyork? J & L Game? 8 Bit And Up Video Games?

What this guy said. I hate the place in OP's picture. They're fucking gougers.

Pic related. Not all that great, but better than Manhattan prices even though that's not saying much. The guy who runs it is pretty cool and its in the middle of Bay Ridge/Bensonhurst. R Train stops like two blocks away. My friend got a Master System there for 70 with all the hook ups and like three games.

j&l told me 200 for a master system with 1 controller and no games. almost laughed right in his face but instead just said "holy fuck" and left the store.

Yeah dude. I remember they had a copy of Resident Evil for the Saturn about like, 10 years ago. They wanted 60-80 for it. Granted it was sealed, but I wouldn't past J&L to have resealed it.
They were literal scum. My friend got a modded PS2 there for like 250 dollars back in the day.
Fuck J&L, they're even worse than OP's pic.

Judeogamesnewyork, no question.
In NY state, as far as chains go, Jay street games and Game Crazy both over price stock and suck.
Most places around the state are well known to either be shit or good, because they have been around for years.
About scumbag stores. A jew just opened a few stores in CNY called Voltage Video games. That place is fucking cancer. Repros everywhere at full price and cockroaches in his systems a few years ago.

Forgot to add. Just mentioning this because I travel the whole state since no one area seems to be a mecca for used games.

>Bay Ridge/Bensonhurst
Is this the bad part of Brooklyn?
okay ya the one i was talking about in miller's place is called "Game On". i was just there like 2 weeks ago. there's also a really cute girl there that will talk for literally ever with you about video games. do recommend.

Holy shit, I recognize those giant Sonic & Mario things in the window. There used to be two exactly like that at my local Best Buy! Way back in the late 90s when the video game section had 9 giant-ass TVs which made up one large image so the whole store could see the SNES (and later N64) being played. The Mario & sonic displays were on either side of the jumbotron.

This. GameOn and The Revolution are like 20x better than anything in the city

There's also Video Game Trading Outpost in Levittown. I haven't been there since they moved out of the big chief building, but they had a fucking huge amount of unsorted inventory last I checked. Prices are decent to ebay-tier.
