I loved the SNES Jurassic Park game. It was hard as hell and kind of shitty, but it's fun.

Probably because it wasn't Nintendo who made them.

It was Ocean software. And they only had about 6 months to develop the game from scratch.

Jurassic Park Genesis mid way through development, they realised Grant wasn't fun to play, so they added a janky and slippery controlling raptor

I used to think JP Genesis was awesome, but it's really rough to play

Nah it's alright. No JP game is really actually good other than the Sega arcade though, but out of all the console games, I liked the NES one the best, being able to explore the island on top down view was fun.

The genesis game with the raptor was fun as a novelty but I don't like the controls at all.
Never played the SNES one but I assume it's similar in terms of controls.
