There's nothing "wrong" with it in the moral sense or anything of that nature. But it is a little weird to love something that you're terrible at. If you actually love it, why would you not want to improve? Unless you're physically or mentally incapable of doing so. Sounds like me, I love the character designs and it's pretty comfy playing them single player when I want a quick game.

It's such a pure genre. You take a person on one side and a person on the other and they fight until one loses.

I'm terrible at them tho so I usually buy them and play them mostly on my own or with friends who are equally terrible.

What games are you playing? Most modern fighters punish quitters. I play online a lot and it almost never happens to me.
