Really a shame her, dedede, and waddle dee as playable characters was cut. I always liked the cast in crystal shards, I know they didn't do all too much butbI feel like they really add something to the game.

same, it seemed like the director put a lot of thought, heart, and effort into developing her for that sort of role. even dl3 plants the seed for her to become a main character, when she's seen befriending the other characters and drawing all the credits, then drawing "the end" in the final shot
