I don't have them saved anymore, but I got some pretty good results corrupting Super Adventure Island. One time, the color palettes got so fucked up that Master Higgins turned into a demon with red eyes, dark grey skin, and blood on his mouth. Another really cool corruption created a sort of "night-time" theme where everything was pitch black except the fruits, powerups, and some background elements which now had neon colors. The corrupted music added to the atmosphere, as it was now just bongo drum samples. Even though the character sprites were just shadows, the game was still perfectly playable. I doubt I could recreate these easily.
