Any other good Asterix games?
The arcade game was pretty good from what I remember.
There were at least a couple of nice 3d Asterix games released for PS1, not sure if those were released in the US though.

Asterix and the secret mission for the MS is like an updated version of that one, the GB games are clearly inspired by it too but they're not that good.
Most games are decent, but there are only a couple of actually good games. The first SMS game, the arcade beat'em up and the first Playstation game, which is also on PC. The SNES/DOS game is probably worth checking out for providing actual coop platforming.
They all feature amazing music.

Loved the platforming, hated the short loop repetitive music of the ms game.
The arcade game is godlike though . Beatemup with so many Asterix touchesband comedy. It's beautiful to play
The ones on the SMS the Mega Drive and the GBA.
Than there's also Asterix and Obelix for Snes / DOS and Asterix on the PS1

The mega drive games are okay. One even got released in the us.
The gba beat em up is cool and contains a port of the snes game.

Not sure if it's the nostalgia but I'm still having a lot of fun with Asterix and Obelix for the Gameboy. The music is by far the best part about it but the level design and platforming aren't bad either. Sometimes a little frustrating but it's do-able. The games are also cheap for now so that helps.

I do love that game. But it's heavily flawed. I like the platforming, but the mini-games are pretty awful. Especially the vault level.
Also, let's not forget the graphics. It's one of the best looking GB game with lots of detail, different enviroments and parallax scrolling. Music is definitely the best part though.
