Best Sonic the Hedgehog game

Wasnt the Sega CD really good besides a few shitty FMV games? Thats what I hear anyways, Ive never played it.

Its a true Sonic game in the style of Sonic 1. No hate for the game. Sonic 2 / 3 were like Sonic covered in frosting.

Sega CD is worth buying if you can afford getting the discs and will end up playing it. Otherwise, just emulate. The FMV games were mostly the worst. I kinda liked Ground Zero Texas and Time Gal. You have to understand there wasn't any other game like these and I hadn't seen any graphics like these at the time. Lots of people might not have had a PC yet.

Awesome game that is what sonic could/should have been, instead of what he became.

You're right that presentation and music are pretty good. Too bad that gameplay and design sucks. I wanted to like it, but couldn't.

It is the worst 2D Sonic in every conceivable aspect. People who praise any part of this game don't know what they're talking about.
