If you use RGB you'll get a slightly sharper picture from the mini if you mod it. Otherwise the mini has a few minor graphical errors in like 5 or 6 games.

model 2 snes has better composite video, but no s-video support

since s-video cables are cheap and this doesn't require modding, you're almost always better off with the original model, or better, an sfc.

Does the mini have graphical glitches like the 1chip fat? Ie, in Demons Crest, Aladdin?
I own one but never looked...
