Trying to 1cc Metal slug 3 and I'm still having trouble with the giant red spiders in the mothership. Any tips on beating them without getting crushed?

Im trying to 1cc MS1 and I'm apparently too retarded to go the whole game without accidentally inputting the "plz xplode my tank" command once
