Recommend me a game to emulate on my phone I don't have an external controller or anything. I like RPGs
Visual novels (not retro, but Ace Attorney series and 999 on NDS are perfect for the go)
WarioWare Twisted (MyBoy has gyroscope support)
Advance Wars series
Fire and Ice on NES

final fantasy legend 1 and 2 (aka SaGa 1 and 2)
read the manual, and maybe get a monster transformation chart.

>SquareEnix titles have good ports.
Quality varies by a wide margin. DQ IV-V and RS2 are the best ones. FFs III, IV, and IX aren't bad. FFV is admittedly decent but I wouldn't go a single step farther than that.

I'm going to get some shit for this, but Legend of Dragoon felt better on a mobile device for me. The addition mechanic feels better on a touchscreen than a controller. Either that or I'm just a faggot.
There's literally a romancing saga 2 remake for android

Go in blind with monster transformations, it adds a thrill in not knowing what you might get and also considering if the monsters meat really is a step up.

Advance Wars is the shit!

>Legend of Dragoon
I always thought that game was not that great anyhow and never got the hype here for it, so maybe you are onto something.

none of that other than Fire and Ice are retro as far as the board rules are concerned.

>I have nothing better to do than be a little crybaby on the internet.
Smartphones and tablets (normie devices) are the least authentic way to do retrogaming.

I loved the game as a kid, the additions were fun and the spectacular dragoon transformations and spell effects were awesome. Going back and playing it now I can see that the combat was shallow and the effects just become tedious to watch even on the quick setting just because of how slow the game's combat is. It's also super linear, very railroaded in comparison to other JRPGs at the time. I still like the game but it's just not as good as I used to think it was.

Would you happen to know if this is from a video or something and the name of said video if so? Google Image Search just gives me second hand postings of the same image. Thanks.
