I really miss "no$gmb" the DOS gameboy emulator.
Mostly because it had no bullshit. Just the emulation in fullscreen, and with super game boy borders, something that seems to give most modern gb emulators trouble as far as i've seen (and fuck off, i want borders for nostalgia reasons)
pic related, how the emulator probably looked to someone. Mine looked blue and green
side note:
please point me to which emulator allows SGB borders + GBC colors.
It seems like there's 3 of us on the internet actually giving a shit about it, and it's buggy as fuck in every emulator i try

i found bgb, which is kinda shitty but does the job
Also, the "time not set" glitch on pokemon gold dissapeared magically... i don't understand what happened but i can live with this.
back to the topic, if anyone may post
If it's a DOS program then just load it up in dosbox, it's what I do when I wanna mess with my old nesticle savestates from 1997
NO$GMB still works fine. There's a DOS version and a Windows version.
It is the best emu. NO$SNS has a fantastic debugger too.
Are borders a rare feature in Gameboy emulators? I remember my floppy disk with REW and Pokemon Red was played with borders I think.

No but apparently intelligence in emulation users is

Why not use Dosbox to emulate said emulator?
