It was originally made for Windows 98. Dreamcast games released after 1999 are retro, so are Windows 98 games released after 1999.

And are you saying Diablo 3 is better than Diablo 2?? Diablo 3 is an abomination compared to 2! Path Of Exile is a better sequel to Diablo 2 and it isn't even a sequel.

According to /vr/'s rules and everything I've heard in other threads, the age of the game is irrelevant. What's important is that it was released before 2000, with DC games being the only exception. The year 2000 threshold is not going to be changed in future years or next gen. Don't dispute it, unless you really want to derail a thread. I don't personally agree with it, but rules are rules.

Slightly incorrect. The focus is more on the console(or in PC's case, the operating system) it was released on. PSX games are ALL legit for discussion, even those released after 2000. Deus Ex is one of those grey areas, as it worked on Win98, though janitors will remove such dedicated threads from time to time. Thief 2 is still fair for discussion, though it was released in 2000(probably because it works in Win98).
Diablo 2 might be okay here, Diablo 3 is definitely not.
