Cover Disc collecting. Am I the only one?
>>
Neat collection.

Only one I own is Christmas NiGHTS.

Not really collecting them but I still have all those ComputerBILD Spiele, Bravo Screenfun and PC Action discs.
>>
>>3213180
what is this
>>
I still have my PC gamer cd's from the 90's. They contain alot of cool shit and patches for games that are hard to find sometimes
>>
>>3213241
Those are half of my magazine cover discs, stored under my bed.
>>
>>3213253
So, what's your organization tactic? Are they indexed? Are the spindles at least themed?
>>
>>3213313
Actually there is an online catalog.
Maybe you aren't familiar with this idea, but a "friendly" collector makes his own investments "worthless" by publishing them, so everybody can use them for free.

kultcds.com/Catalog/

And yes, most of the spindles are ordered by Magazine, Year and Month.
>>
I still have all my old demo discs... but im not buying more.

Mainly because I never see old ones from pc gaming mags. Only ones I see are from shit like xbox
>>
That's really stupid. Collecting worthless shit.
>>
>>3213180
Interesting hobby never heard of this
>>

It started as a side effect of doing video game research. When trying to find stuff from the 90s, I noticed that magazine cover discs are a great source, especially since the old fps and bbses are long gone, and archive.org doesn't have *all the things* either. So yea... that's why I asked my friends if I can have their CDs and went to the local recycling yard and dug through thrown away CDs and bought collections on ebay.

Do you upload the ones they're missing?

Because that would be awesome of you
>>

Sometimes, yea.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
