What is the best video game based off a movie and why is it Little Nemo?
Because it predates the movie I guess
Not better that Terminator 2 NES tho

Aladdin (Genesis, not the shitty SNES game made by gooks).

The Nemo arcade game was awesome. See also Willow.
Capcom were on-point, on all their bases.
Sunsoft had some good ones for NES. Batman is great and Gremlins 2 isn't shabby either.

This game had no right to be as good as it was
This game was a childhood favorite, absolutely loved it as a kid. Played it recently and it still holds up well

Batman Returns
Just about anything from Capcom, Konami and Sunsoft really.
Willow on the NES was particularly good.
Batman on NES without a doubt

Seconded.but the game didn't aged well =(
Blues Brothers for MsDOS and AMIGA is great. People behind this really knew what they were doing.

Does not predate the movie, only the second US release which was edited for a G rating
Blazing Lazers, one of the best shmups.

It's from Compile and very much a Aleste game.

The original Japanese version, Gunhed, is based on a movie from the same year. Very loosely. All references were removed from Blazing Lazers.
However it does actually feel closer to the non-Compile developed Star Soldier series

Hyperblade!
Although many people do have a dramatic fondness for Speedball, which is a reasonable option if you have a thing for consoles. Or a thing for amiga.
TIE fighter and X-wing vs. TIE fighter.

>Not playing the superior ROM Hack with him feeding other kids candy.
Step up.
>fuck the genesis version
True Lies for SNES or Genesis

It's a very cool movie and Gunhed even appears in a PSX game.

This was one of my favorite games when I was a kid. Still need to replay it.
By the way, was the sequel Rampage Edition any good?

>By the way, was the sequel Rampage Edition any good?
If you like raptor levels, yes.
Carmageddon.
STILL no mention of this? COME ON!

That movie didn't look all that retro.
