I've had one in my basement for a couple years. It would kind of cut out after playing a game for a little bit. I couldn't find any good guides on which transistors are usually the problems, like I found for Atari. I'm not pro enough to figure any of that stuff out on my own, so I've never fixed it. Apparently KC Munchkin is the must have game because it's a Pac-Man clone? IDK

I had one when they originally came out, and we had to replace the joysticks multiple times.

I have one now due to nostalgia and it was fun for about 10 minutes.

Anyway, there are some interesting games for it, though most are average clones of 2600 games.

My first console as a kid (yes I am old as fuck). Fun system, graphics are worse than the 2600, but the system is still enjoyable. Look for KC munchkin (awesome pac man clone that you can creat simple makes in) pick axe Pete, sort of life runnerish where you run around a mine, ufo which a is kind of like asteroids and Freedom fighters which is kind of like defender without the ground. If you like the system, there was an add on unit called The Voice which select games voice synth capabilities. Also, there are several games that came with board game supplies, there was a lord of the rings game and iirc a stock market game, but I never had those. It's a very fun system, not as polished as those that came before, but worth having.

The best games for Oddysey 2 are the the board game hybrids. I really should pick them up before they get outrageously expensive.
