Wacky Wheels HD is out on Steam. Might be cool.

Early access, I'll wait for the final release, but it looks pretty good.
Online play, 16 new tracks, duck hunt mode, battle mode.

Besides the online play, apparently it is feature complete.

good one...
Looks amateurish, barely above free games from 10 years ago like Super Tux Kart.
>>3173438
Super Tux Kart is at least 3D, this game is like a Flash game.
>Wacky Wheels
>not the superior special ed version

Skunny Kart remake WHEN?????
You guys are out of your minds, Wacky Wheels is great. Or rather, the problem is that the majority of "retro gamers" are console gamers.
Besides it's sold for 10bucks.
>playing shareware version back in the day
>watch demo recording of a course that's only in the full version
>find out about trick/cheat to play that course
That made me feel like a badass haxor when I was 10. Like doing some basic hacking in NESticle
I hate this kind of kart genre with a passion

ROFL why'd they rip-off of Super Indie Karts?
>>3173469
When skunny kong country HD is released and the whacky wheels HD code is swiped!

>Wacky Kart is an early prototype of the Super Mario Kart clone Wacky Wheels ... or maybe Skunny Kart. Probably both. It has a complicated history. The game's developer started the game as a personal project while working at Copysoft and foolishly allowed them access to a copy of the source before taking the game to Apogee. Copysoft used the engine to create Skunny Kart and Apogee soon after launched Wacky Wheels.
