Pls help me filling this. Also European games thread.

In Italy there is also Graffiti/Milestone that developed Screamer/Screamer 2/Screamer Rally. All DOS games, but really enjoyable racing games, there are other games developed by them but are not retro.
>>3157551
>it's retro
>it was made in an European Country
I tried to pick the least obscure stuff I could find and included different eras whenever it was possible.

Okay then.
>>3157582
No, go ahead.

Updated.
The 90s? Ok here are some for Poland
Earth 2140 - rts
Teenagent - adventure game
The Prince and the Coward for Windows - another adventure game
Gorky 17/Odium - turn based strategy "horror" rpg
Mortyr - wwII fps about time travel
Jack Orlando - 30s based detective adventure game
The games listed here were published in English as far as I remember and were at lest decent back then. I haven't listed the dozens of adventure games that weren't released outside of the country. There's also a decent amount of Amiga/Spectrum titles but mostly in Polish.

Well, I could write some pretty obscure stuff like ZX Spectrum and other Soviet computers games or early 90s DOS games, but that's not what former USSR is known for.
So here come late 90s games: Vangers, Hard Truck, Z.A.R. (Russia), Warcraft 2000 (Ukraine).
There were probably other games too.
Ecco was made in Hungary
Going to sleep, I'll keep updating tomorrow.
Why don't Balkans make any games?
>>3157668
shit, was just about to post that.
So was Imperium Galactica, the first Last Ninja (disputed), S.W.I.N.E., and I think one of the recent Heroes of Might and Magic games. I think so was Crysis Warhead.
And the team who did Ecco also had a bunch of other games - Three Dirty Dwarves, some Star Trek game, Jurassic Park Lost World, Tiny Tank, and Contra Legacy of War.

They are too busy waging war against each other and slave trading each others daughters.
Serious Sam was made by Croatians, for what its worth.
>>3157539
how retro are we going?
Scotland also gets the original GTA, assuming we're going by developer and not publisher.
>>3157697
All Warsaw pact countries got their first video game exposure through Dendys, many didn't have computers or modern consoles since they were proven quite expensive. This is especially true for Balkan states in which computer clubs are still more popular than home computing,

I seriously doubt Donkey Kong Country was written in Cornwall. What the fuck is this even a map of?
Try masking the boxcovers with the area of the country of origin itself, so that the viewer can still see all the national borders. That and some better placement of the covers and titles might clear up what this is even supposed to be.

Rareware was famously located in Twycross, actually.
>>3157539
Tetris in Russia, obv.
wipE'out" from Liverpool UK, baby.
I always lol when I look at sweden and finland, they look like cock and balls.

The Settlers for Germany
Germany made awesome games. Now the only games they make are second and third jobs.
>>3158229
Sometimes I just can't believe retards like this exist but here they are.
>>3158786
It very clearly looks like a dong
Kula World is Swedish. And GTA is Scottish.
Ukraine
Chasm: The Rift, Carnivores (both are Action Forms games)
Slovakia
Quadrax, Spellcross (both are Cauldron games)
>>3157603
I have played Mortyr, Gorky 17, Teen Agent, but the first game from Poland that rings in my head is Electro Body/Electro Man.
>>3158782
Rising cost's of development and 90s piracy killed many creative euro devs. Literally the only developers that still exist from then are those that made international releases and console games.

>modern borders
NOT RETRO
>>3158961
Only Montenegro (and Kosovo if you want to count that) became independent after 2000.
Eastgermany didn't produce any noteworthy games so there's no point in including them.
>>3157539
Add to the Russia:
Allods 1/2, also known as Rage of Mages ('98 RTS+RPG, really good IMO)
Konung series (picrelated, basically Diablo with a party)
Dungeons of Kremlin ('95 Wolf clone)
Arkona (http://www.old-games.ru/game/download/1835.html) - a decent Myst-like quest.
Too bad Space Rangers is not retro.
>>3159026
>Dungeons of Kremlin
Shovelware tier, just like its sequel, not really worth it, also OP add Gromada to the russian list, pretty neat twin stick vehicular combat game.
>>3157539
>Ukraine
>>3157539
>Russia
>>3159135
>Gromada
Not exactly retro.
But i'd add Counter Action (with Burned snow) at least.
>>3159153
Geomada was released in '99 in Russia so it's totally retro
>>3157691
Also Russia.
>>3159160
I thought it was 2001.
2ch made a list several years ago for CIS industry, has some totally retro stuff in it. Cannot attach a large file though.

Europe had some neat racers.
>Poland
Street rod series
>England
Lotus turbo challenge, Super cars, Network Q RAC Rally
>France
Crazy cars III
Also, Team 17 games.
>>3157539
Russia:
Sea Dogs is 2000 so idunno if it counts. Regarded as best pirate sim series by some.
Pilot Brothers - a '97 gremliins knock-off, somehow even more whacky. Can be bought off steam
Ukraine:
Carnivores - dinosaur hunting sim, built on engine very similar to Unreal.
>>3157539
Wonder why you took Obelix for Spain? I mean, it is one of the best looking games on the system and it features music from one of the best chiptune composers of all time, Alberto Gonzalez, but I'm wondering why you picked it.

Love The Settlers. Definitely needs to be up there. How about Anno 1602?
>>3159135
>Shovelware tier
True, but it still had some vibe. Sequel, it was complete garbage with really shitty sprites, but that fairy-tale themed messages about killing a monster or picking up helath/losing some from poisonous mushrooms, and "100 years of life" instead of "100 percent" is what hooks me. I replay it once a couple of years listening to Moscow afterdark by Powerwolf, they go together wonderful.

Would Anno 1602 count for Austria due to Max Design?
>>3157654
I checked a video about Warcraft 2000 from youtube. Rarely have I seen such a lousy attempt in reskinning an already old game. Brazilian Outlive comes to mind but apparently that was an ok game.
Liero for Finland if homebrew games count
>Ireland
Dunno if it's retro, but Speed Freaks (Punks) was made here in 2000. Almost no one knows about it, which is a pity.
>>3159771
There, I updated the map with some Finnish classics from my childhood.

I had this and CTR, it felt very second rate but I could live with it. I played it again a month ago and the drifting is weird. That and rubberbanding.

Did you seriously reverse image search everything on that just to find an excuse to shitpost?
Good christ this is more autistic than the Lyra fucktoy. This is more autistic than the jesus sonic bullshit. This is a level of autism on-par with Chris Chan during a meltdown.
>>3157739
I find it funny how that's the case, yet the Scottish accents of Love Fist were so hilariously bad. Seriously, you couldn't grab a random chav off the street?
>>3159840
Yeah it's not really on CTRs level, but it was definitely one of the best. Visually it's pretty reminiscent of Nintendo, and I never had that stuff growing up. So when I was a kid I remember really liking the colours and the sense of wide open spaces.
>>3159898
If anything it felt very uninspired. The kids all filled very typical archetypes. Even if it was intentional, the character themselves could be more interesting.
On the flip side, turbo pick ups refilling by the pips felt alright, the visuals were some beautiful low poly work and the music definitely felt very UKish with the breakbeat and drum & bass vibes.
UK had great Dizzy Adventures series.
