ITT: Games only you remember. I'll start
Bucky O'Hare is a pretty well regarded NES game.
Trollie Wallie for the C64

>Curse of Enchantia
I remember having to give a fakir guru guy a set of pebbles from a cave in order to have a wishing well restored to functionality so you can wish for a helmet so you can walk under some falling rocks. There was also something about giving a fire extinguisher to a wizard in order for him to teleport you to a glacier I think?
That game really made no sense at all.
>>3137379
Yeah it's a point and click adventure with no text and nonsense humor.
>>3137290
Toypop or yokai douchuki... both by namco, although I prefer toypop.
>>3137290
nigga i remember and loved that fucking game. dont be dumb.
You probably don't want to remember it. It's shit.
>>3137405
who is this semon demen
>>3137290
bucky o'hare is pretty popular nowadays. i feel like most people know about it at this point. good game, though
Ace Ventura The CD-ROM Game.
I only played this on a PC magazine demo disc, but I remember that pretty well.
>>3138434
I also know this game from some demo disc, Planet Blupi. It took me a real long time to find this again because I didn't know the title, and google searching yellow men vs bulldozers didn't yield any relevant results.
Any ya'll niggas ever play Super Putty?
>>3137307
Not only do I remember Curse of Enchantia but I also vividly remember how my game was corrupted and it bugged in this very screen with no ways around. Never managed to finish it.
>>3138818
Yeah, but on DOS. I remember you could just go to the next level by pressing Enter? Fun game though.
>>3138795
>>3138795
I remember this game. Like you I only played the demo.
Here's my entry.
Magic Theatre (1994)
It's provided as a freeware now on the developers' website, but it won't work on a x64 Windows. Sad.
>>3138851
Was this released for DOS?
>>3139472
I've derived a fairly reliable yet simple heuristic to determine if a non-DOS game had a DOS version or not.
Is it a good game? If it is, it had a DOS version, which was better. If it isn't, it didn't.
Other than 3 other people here No one knows this shit.
>>3139518
Fuckin' Gemfire. What is up my nig?
>>3138860
i used to own this game, turning into reptar wrecked assholes.
Brian the Lion (Amiga)

Kenseiden - The art of running slowly against the wind
>>3139549
The Orks went on a rampage......
>>3138860
>Parents got me a copy of Ocarina of Time for my birthday
>they didn't know that I'd traded a holographic Venosaur card for both OoT AND Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
>take it back to the store
>trade it in for a copy of this
>entire family mocking me endlessly
>never even end up playing it
>>3139562
I remember GamesMaster magazine saying it had a "completely top roar effect". Is this true?
Medieval Warriors, wasn't very good iirc
Nox, was a great RPG and I spent countless hours on it. Multiplayer back in the day was amazing. It had ways of creating cusom maps via hex editing that brings back a lot of nostalgia for me.
>>3138542
I loved this game, funny how in my memories the graphics seemed more vibrant
>>3139636
Top roar effect? What do you mean?
>>3137290
That game is pretty well known.
fav ps1 game
>>3139673
ANy good SP maps/campaigns? I remember searching for them back in the day, but never found any.
Was just trying to think of a random game I've played I have not heard mentioned before.
>>3138332
Slam city?I only know that because of AVGN
Probably a decently well known game, multiplayer was fun as fuck. So glad I still own it cause its expensive as fuck, just don't know anyone else that played it.
>>3140446
what is this?
>>3140502
Assault Retribution on PS1.
>>3140530
cool, thanks.
>>3140451
Yup. I used to have it as a kid and actually enjoyed it back then. I can imagine it is shit now
This is probably more a case of game only you know.
gearheads
loads of fun 1x1 with friends, with the demo that i got probably from a "CD Expert" magazine issue
i guess ill pirate it now that i have internet and check all those toys the demo advertised when you finished playing
btw just release a phalanx of yellow tractors low on wind, startles the enemy and lets you calmly think of your strategy, unless they react in doing the same, and you end up with a boring match, screen filled with dead tractors
>>3140459
-playing as spider
-split singla between 2 TVs
-cover half of each tv with cardboard
>>3140459
btw it's
Metal Warrios
if youre lurking and wondering
>>3138795
I most likely had the same demo disc, because I only played a demo where I walked around and got knights armor.
>>3143613
Same deal with me, I only had the demo.
>>3139518
Love that wyvern theme.
Mike Matei got me hooked on this gem.
Guerilla War. First game I ever beat. Infinite continues played a pretty big role in that.
>>3137290
- Attack of the Saucerman
- Urban Chaos (not Riot response)
- Oni
- C-Dogs
>>3137290
This.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnGYIP-sj-Q
the level editor on this was so great, i made top quality levels when i was like 9
I love this game, but I am pretty surebit caused me to develop a guro fetish when I got older.
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes on NES. Had this when I was a kid.
>>3150712
i wore out my PC disc playing this game.
Here's mine.
Ogre Battle is somewhat well-known, but I still haven't met anyone in person (or fuck, even on the internet) who has played it. It's so fucking good dude.
>>3151083
I played the Playstation version. Good game indeed. I once managed to get a vampire early on and bulldozed most of the game.
>>3150994
MOTHERFUCKING
BASEWARS
>>3150994
I only played this game so I could get into the battles. I would purposely set them off every time.
Rocky Rodent is mine.
>>3139518
Probably the steepest learning curve of any game I've ever played, and there is no tutorial in the game. the only way you know how to play is the manual.
>>3139518
Fucking based Gemfire. Scylla gave me such a boner as a kid.
This really depends on whether or not you were into the BBS scene in the mid-90s before internet was very widespread commercially.
I bet a lot of people had the shareware single-player demo, though.
>>3153646
I vaguely remember watching a friend playing it in college in the early 90s, though I think it may have been the first game.
>>3150712
everybody that was playing games in the mid '90s that wasn't in diapers knew carmageddon
>>3151203
Mix of both platformer and city-sim. Fucking awesome game and wish I could still find it
>>3139586
I had that. That boss was entirely luck iirc
This. Was hard as shit too. Can only ever beat a few races.
>>3139048
Holy shit so they made this thing!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2THuctqMXis
>>3139586
my third favorite game of all time. Nehind only Shenmue and Perfect Dark. God, I miss this game
>>3155327
Had the n64 version and couldn't make it through a lap without my car falling apart or being a minute behind
I only know this game from back in the original days of the /vr/-gauntlet threads.
it wasn't great.
Final Conflict for the PC, circa 1997. It was a subpar Starcraft, but I liked it.
>>3155894
it looks amateurish
Specifically the PC version, but it was released on the PS1, Saturn, and maybe the CDi? Too lazy to check.
>>3150709
I used to wake up super early on Saturday just to watch that pile of dogshit they called a cartoon. Loved every second of it!
Am I doing it right?
>>3156441
Christ, no. There are tons of people still uploading custom tournaments for OMF.
>>3138860
Oh damn, I had this game. It was Mario Party: Horseshit Edition.
>>3156460
christmas heroes?
Voodoo Kid, watch out for the CapĀ“n!
>>3150994
Always tried to win by creating a pitcher with a big ass cannon and literally destroy enough of the other team by hitting them all till they died and didn't have enough of a roster to finish
Just played this last night. Does not hold up well at all compared to what I remember
I'd really enjoy a mobile idle game remake.
Blade Warrior on the Amiga, anyone? Anyone?!
Clunkiest movement and combat in the world, but I loved it. The atmosphere spooked the hell out of me as a kid, in part because my copy was pirated and I had literally no clue what I was doing - only served to make it all the more oppressive and mysterious.
>>3155865
What game is this?
>>3146505
Just tried it after seeing your post. Very fun, feels a lot like Jackal, which I always loved. Thanks, anon.
>>3156597
that. seemed way to creepy when I was 7
