What is the best Star Trek game?
Honestly? Star Trek Online.
I thought TNG on SNES was banging because of the bridge control shit you could do. Messing around with the warp drive and power supply sliders was what I always wanted.

My hope is for one day to get a Trek game with so much freedom and versatility that I would be able to eject Counselor Troi out an airlock.
Bridge Commander

nigga u gay
>>3070481
They're all shit
>>3070481
Academy. It's amazing.
Starfleet Command
I dunno about the best but a KDF themed MMO that isn't shit built upon shit like STO would be pretty tight, someone should do that
Starship Creator kicked a lot of ass. You got to build ships and send them out on missions.
Felt more Star Trek than the third person ship flying ones due to the feeling of distance from the manipulation of the actual ship. More mystery, imagination, and logical decision-making.

Pretty much any of the interplay or Activision games

I have this for the SNES and have beaten it into the ground.. ya know, except that last level for obvious reasons. Although I do average 5-10 kills on it.
In my opinion, Klingon Honor Guard is their best game.
For me it's Star Trek the 25th Anniversary
even better than star trek desu
>>3072189
25th Anniversary was excellent and great.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Fallen
2002 PC
Star Trek: Bridge Commander
and
Star Trek: Elite Force II
Klingon Academy is pretty great.

>eject Counselor Troi out an airlock
>Counselor Troi
>Not Wesley
kek.
Starflight by a mile
The only correct answer.
>>3074834
>not the LE
>>3071034
I didn't expect this here. I do not like your inclinations.
Sure wish I could get this bizzatch to run on a modern system without crashing.
Also the first Elite Force game was totally awesome
>>3074860
You're right. I'm sorry, anon.
>>3075605
My copy doesn't crash but it runs at something stupid like 10 fps, I wish I could fix it.

The best star trek game was the UMS map on Starcraft: Brood War. I think it was called Star Trek Diplomacy. It's dope.
Picked this up for 50c cib at a book sale.
No Idea how to run it though

I defy any game, Star Trek or otherwise, to show me a damage system as comprehensive as Bridge Commander's. I loved slicing the nacelles off other ships, or beheading Galaxy class vessels.

>ya know, except that last level for obvious reasons
If you play as Kirk, you can hail the Klingons and they surrender.
>>3076343
>heading Galaxy class vessels
what even was the point of that? Galaxy class ships could literally seperate by themselves.
>>3078940
That last level was shit. Not gonna lie. But the rest of the game was solid and the multiplayer was far better than any of that quake, unreal tourny bullshit. Halo STILL wishes it had multiplayer that good or could even begin to handle multiplayer in varying gravitational environments.
no love for klingon academy?

Hey man Marina Sirtis went through a lot of exploitation in schlock action movies to get to NG. Mad respect.
>>3081862
I was just going to mention that. It was a pretty good game.
I never found ST games all that interesting, but then they tend to be very dry adventures/simulations.
Also don't forget The Kobayashi Alternative.
Secret of Vulcan fury was dope. You should check it out.
>>3075605
The first elite force was set during a real star trek voyager episode, it's fantastic
>>3074834
I hate LEDs in pinball machines, they're so harsh and make it look bad imo
A Final Unity was kick ass. Works great in Dosbox too.

But who'd give Worf his daily head if she was gone?
He'd go crazy and murder everyone.
