Game works perfectly fine except when I go underwater. The screen turns pitch black and I can't see jackshit. I managed to pass some parts where you can feel how/where to dive, but I'm stuck in the "A tenuous Lead, Scene 5" part, when I have to escape the boat. I can't beat the game like this.

Nothing in google that I can find to fix the issue, only thing people is saying it's a common problem with intel cards.

Asus X555LJ
i7 5500U
Nvidia GeForce 920m + Intel HD 5500
8 Gb RAM
Windows10 x64

Game version:
GOTY
1.004

Observations:
Game doesn't recognize the nvidia card, have to run it with the intel one. When I go to nvidia's control panel it doesn't even show either.
I tweaked all graphic options, still black-water.


Anyone encounter this same issue and knows how to fix it, by any chance? Game is fucking awesome and lots of fun. Enlighten me with your wisdom please /vr/

I don't know much about PC games, but I got Grim Fandango to work on my Windows 7 by running it through a Windows 98 combatability mode or something.

I think the problem may be the intel card, but I can't/don't know what to do so the nvidia card recognises the game

Thanks man, I read all the comment section in here http://www.play-old-pc-games.com/2012/05/23/no-one-lives-forever/ but couldn't find anything that fixes the issue. More useful comment is:

While it’s been mentioned that Intel Graphics Units don’t really like the game too much, if you can change to an ATI or NVIDIA card in their respective control panels, make sure it’s not NOLF.exe your setting to use the high-performance GPU (that’s just the launcher). Instead, change “lithtech.exe”, which is the process running the game itself.
As a side note, when I finally fixed the bug, I ended up with another one. My NVIDIA card caused the menus to flash rapidly. I fixed that by playing in windowed mode. (“+windowed 1” as an additional argument in the launcher’s “Advanced…” menu)
The Dialog Cut Short bug is caused by the game running over 60 FPS, causing timing issues in cutscenes. You need to cap the game at 60 FPS to fix it.

I managed to add the game to nvdia's control panel with the lithtech.exe thingy, tweaked a few things, still nothing. I'll keep on trying. Also found this http://www.unityhq.net/, seems like the "official" webpage, I'll ask there see if there's any luck.
