I played the SNES version and it was okay until I got to this area with birds dropping shit on me. There must have been some hitbox wankery going on because even though, visually, I was blatantly avoiding them, the game still made them hit me.

It pissed me off quite a lot actually. Didn't really bother with it after that.

Are there emulators with decent netplay? I tried it a long time ago and it lagged like shit. The best experience I've had was playing Battle Circuit with a friend via fightcade.

Definitely not something I'd actually recommend, but Croc 2 allowed both players to control Croc. I had a blast messing with my friends one afternoon with that.
