Im looking for specific shmup, dont remember the title.
Main thing was that there were three types of ships and three characters to choose from at the start of the game.

Some kind of macho guy in his bulky bomberlike ship, really bulby, A grill in her fighter and a crazy doc/scientist in his sleek, fast ship.
Anyone know the title?

Does the game "Layer Section" have a sort of auto-centering or is my controller busted? For example, I move right, and when I let off right or left, my ship drifts a bit back the other way. It only does this in certain areas.

I had to scrub the connectors on the controller pretty well to even get it to respond, but I didn't noticed any bad input in any other game.

Good game but I think you're in the wrong thread. Practically everyone here is a bonafide weaboo. Also this isn't really a thread for run n guns or platformers, which are considered different genres from STGs even though a lot of them feature shooting.

It actually took me by surprise when I found out that the Psyvariar games were by korean devs. Given the country's past efforts in the shmup market which included commercial games that literally ripped graphics from other shmups, the leap in quality, style and originality was nothing short of amazing.

The same devs are also apparently responsible for Sanvein, another batshit insane shooter (if you're willing to call it that) for the PS1.

Sanvein was developed by Success alone. They didn't develop Psyvariar but they did publish it.
