Is she the same Deis of the other BoF games?

I haven't played IV so no spoilers please but in III it is hinted that she met the other Ryus of I and II. If she is alive in IV, which supposedly happened 500 years prior to I, and II and III happen a few hundred years apart, then she has been alive for nearly one thousands years if not more.

Because the game makes him seem OP as fuck in cutscenes and when you fight him he's strong then after he joins he's easily one of the worst options to have in your party.

Still a cool character, though.

It's hard to really say anything that doesn't spoil stuff. Really you should just play IV, it's an incredible game and in my opinion the best in the series. If you liked 1-3 I can't recommend it enough.

Marle and Lucca's power is based off of their accuracy(HIT) rather than power and Ayla obviously has no magic explaining the "useless" stats.

Kiss and Tail Spin are affected by her Magic stat, as well as some combined techs, like Fire Whirl, Blaze Kick, and Slurp Kiss. Fire Whirl and Blaze Kick actually have really high Magic modifiers for Ayla, so if her Magic is high, their damage is ridiculous.

Huh. I didnt know that I've heard from other threads here that her magic stat was useless. Her magic can get to double stars though like everyone else due to the amount of magic tabs you can aquire trying to get Crono, Lucca and Marle maxed out with that final dungeon in the DS. I think I calculated it and you would need to beat the game 11 times to max out their stats completely. Attempted it before but it gets real old real fast after your 4rth or 5th play through.

1-3 is the same person. She hibernates/is sealed with magic between eras. In 4 it's hard to say. Some say it's before 1, some say way after 3.

This guy.

He's a no-nonsense android with a huge gun, who is also an adept administrator and knows how to run complex climate control machinery. Solid party member in terms of mechanics.

Yet despite his very technical mannerisms, he seems to be written in a way that avoids the common typecasting of robotic characters; namely, either being too cold or trying too hard to be emotional or human.

Survive more than 2 hits. And the Earth element version of him is butter for stonng people. Otherwise faster to just train up a hot flamming witchslut in archer levels, with the cheap common Stun spell.
