Yeah its my favorite way of playing old games like this.

The one thing thats always bothered me about this game is how the levels seem to get easier as you progress (meaning I feel lv 3 is the easiest while 1 is the hardest. I know it gets more difficult the more loops you complete)

Yeah it has 4 stages, it's the original arcade version of DK, so I guess you're right, I didn't notice you were playing the NES version until after I posted.

Fuck I used to be pretty good at NES Donkey Kong. My highest score was 320,300 points. Got all the way to Loop "D". If I can make it up there again and post a screenshot I will.
