I've been buying obscure Japanese shit, especially things I think won't be as good emulated. I bought this for $6 and the boy is like annoyingly large. It just sits there mocking me.

Your Ulala fetish is, well, whatever, but there's nothing wrong with buying sealed copies in bulk if it means you get a good deal. I did the exact same thing with Chu Chu Rocket and I'm not even into space mice. It was just a chance to get a stack of an iconic DC game for less than a buck each.
I could have put the shit up on ebay and easily parlayed my $8 investment into enough for a sumptuous dinner for two at Red Lobster. Instead I decided to give them to kids who are just getting into retro collecting. There are six kids out there who will always remember that the first factory sealed game they ever owned is that copy of Chu Chu Rocket given to them by that cool uncle who had all that old vidya.

Not that I regret it, but I thought it was rarer than it actually was so I ended up paying more than I should have.

A broken laseractive I got a few years back. I always wanted onebecause I love genesis hardware, but unfortunately, it's broken in about every conceivable way (Cracked case, missing remote, caps blown in the Sega pac, disc tray mechanism's shot) and I'm not sure if I'll ever find the time to tackle such a daunting repair project.
