My sis had that on the SNES. We could never get more then 2-3 levels done normally, but found passwords for all the levels and cheat codes, and had tons of fun playing the game that way.

The shooting level with the jet was awesome if you had infinite ammo on.
>>
>>2764291
There has always been really good and really bad movie tie ins. Hell here's a really awful one published from the same company.

I always wanted a crocodile dundee beat em up.
>>
>>2764291
Yeah, that game was the shit. I used to snatch the game from my brothers room and so did he from mine. I cannot even remember whose game it actually was.

Nevertheless, I played it through a number of times but still discovered new stuff during any run. IMO the best game based on a movie.
>>
>>2764390
>aussie detected

don't you see a kangaroo beat'em up every day on the pathway leading up to your lonely house?

to bad this game suffered from being made harder when brought to America. If you want to have a better shot at actually getting through this game you need to play the Japanese version. I think its called Mad City or something.
>>
>>2764365
But that's actually fun :)

No, they were always a mixed bag.

True Lies is absolutely based. Good taste, OP.
>>
>>2765326
>few instances
nigga don't get me started
>>
this game is isn't half bad
>>
Basically, if a Japanese dev made it then it's at the very least average, and many times quite good.

If a non-Japanese dev made it then 90% of the time it was garbage.
>>
>>2765928
The Japs have made plenty of terrible games.

Well, 3D development is hard. There are barely any good license games on the PS1/N64.
>>
>>2765312
Never knew that was based on a movie until now.

The genesis also had a Dick Tracy game, which was a side-scrolling shooter. Rather generic, but it had a nice twist to it. Dick could use a machinegun to target people in the background, making it a sort of side-scrolling/arcade shooter hybrid.

Here's a list of licensed games that I somewhat enjoyed on the PSX.

Alien Trilogy, Die Hard Trilogy, Parasite Eve, Mission Impossible, Toy Story 2, Spider-Man (1 and 2), and Sheep, Dog, n' Wolf.

Still a small list but they do exist.

I bought this game when I lusted for more Mario 64 star collecting missions. It's SO good. Also on PC, PS1, Dreamcast. The FMV cutscenes from the movie is a huge plus.

I don't know how, but this game ended up being one of Game Boy's best RPGs.

Dag, i still know all the cheatcodes by heart. I envied my friends Mega Drive copy, i only had an SNES and here in yuroland it had green blood, while the MD version had red.

Fuck off, he's talking about licensed stuff. Capcom and Konami were unrivaled in the 80s and 90s especially when it came to licensed games. The west turned out massive amounts of shit in comparison.

Truly you are a virulent strain of cancer

Guy A said he wanted a Crocodile Dundee beatemup. Guy B says BB is the closest he will get and Guy C recommends he plays the Japanese version because it's not as bad.

What is your problem exactly?
