How do we fix the garbage starters from Gen 2 and 5?

You can't fix the garbage starters from Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen 5, Gen 6 and Gen 7.

Those are some of the best starters. 5th gen falls off a little bit with emboar and samurott but still.

As much as I shit on gen 2 games and pokemon, the starters are among some of the exceptions, though mainly in regards to Quilava, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr
Gen 5 is the opposite end, where I like the early forms but the only fully evolved one I like is Serperior, despite loving gen 5 as a whole.
