This. I almost swept emerald's champion with it, and I probably would have been able to if leech seed worked with later gen mechanics. Wailord couldn't hit it and wouldn't switch out, so there's the swords dance boosts and a free kill. Tentacruel used toxic, but lum berry cured and tentacruel was killed with dig. I killed two other pokemon before ludicolo took me down with leech seed after it died, even though it doesn't really make sense for leech seed to work when there is no pokemon fto receive the health

Why didn't they buff Wonder Guard to have built-in Magic Guard protection? At the very least it should protect from entry hazards and weather, if not status/leech seed as well.

I agree with all the positives in this thread.

One thing I didn't see mentioned is that it's a fantastic pokemon catcher. It learns false swipe so if your target doesn't have a SE move you can just keep it there and throw pokeballs. It's great for tough pokemon to catch.

It's a shame it doesn't learn a move that causes paralysis or sleep. It should definately learn Hypnosis.
