Tyranitar, Dragonite, Gyarados, Golem, Exeggutor.

You need things with high damage output or to fulfil special niches. Tyranitar and Dragonite are obvious. Gyarados is for water damage, Exeggutor is for psychic or grass damage, Golem is for Rock damage (not ground damage despite what you'd think)

Vaporeon used to be a lot more useful before raid bosses were a thing. Rhydon looks good on paper, but the reality is it has shit moves.
Machamp is useful but situational, best use is as a Tyranitar and Blissey killer.
There isn't an urgent need for fire types in the game.

So you get +1 Badge XP per minute for holding a Pokémon at a Gym. But when does that XP add up? Does it add up when the Pokémon is in the gym? Or does it get rewarded all at once when your Pokémon gets kicked out? Can anyone clarify.

Living in a big city gave me the chance to do some random raids with people. I was able to obtain a 96% Entei by doing so. But to find random raids and then hope for a Mewtwo to show up and rely on those people is not an option. There is too much social randomness involved to waste time on it.

So Ex raid passes are being distributed all over here in Utah However, it appears they're only at the sprint sponsored stops.

Anyone else out there getting any elsewhere? Currently seen at least 15 people across 4 stops, all same day, same time (all sprint sponsored). Started about an hour ago.

Unless you're some robot catching Pokemon 24/7, it probably doesn't matter to you. The limit is there to stop bots, not humans.

There are other caps too, like 40km for buddy candies, 1 million xp a day, etc. Don't know what the catch limit is though. Spoofers probably have a nice spreadsheet table somewhere.

Raid rewards ARE stupid. It's supposed to directly correlate with premier balls, but instead it only affects the multiplier on the items you're lucky enough to get. You could have 14 balls but still only get 20 revives.

Sorry, the mechanics of the game don't allow a pokemon to break out of a ball halfway through a shake. So it just isn't fixed yet for some people (I've heard there's a video of Nuck catching a legendary with the last ball). These are the only possibilities when you land a ball:
>The pokemon instantly breaks out, the "No-Shaker"
>The pokemon breaks out after the first shake
>The pokemon breaks out after the second shake
>You get 3 shakes and secure the capture
>A critical capture

So for any given legendary to break out of a ball HALFWAY through the first shake, let alone the last fucking 7 or 8 I've encountered, should tell you that the glitch still isn't fixed. You expect me to believe that the same animation for the glitch (meaning that half shake/pop out) happened 7 or 8 times consecutively by pure (((coincidence))). We're talking about Niantic here. The mechanics of the catching phase of any pokemon DO NOT allow for a pokemon to break out of a ball in the middle of a shake.

You're still not getting it. Did you do any Raids while the glitch was "active", before the update? The pokemon would always break out of the ball in the middle of the ball's first shake. As outlined above, this isn't mechanically possible when catching unless the glitch is active. If a pokemon is breaking out of a ball it will always do so when the ball is at rest, between shakes, or before you even get one shake. NOT in the middle of a shake. So when I have that identical glitch animation for the past 7 or 8 Raids I've done and gotten down to my last ball, and it does the glitch animation every single time, that means for my personal account at least the fucking glitch has not been fixed. Jesus how is this so hard to understand? It's not that the last ball is shaking maybe once or twice and I'm just because I've never caught a legendary on the last ball. On the contrary that would prove that the glitch has been fixed. But it always breaks out of the last ball during the first shake, which is impossible, because pokemon only break out of balls when they come to rest, between shakes, however you wanna phrase it. There's also plenty of post-update video evidence on YouTube that it hasn't been fixed, watch a couple of Raids where the person gets down to their last ball to see the HIGHLY SPECIFIC animation that occurs on their last ball.
