Change your team every time you get a badge,you must get 2 badges to use a mon you already used again then when you get another badge it gets locked again and you must win 2 badges to unlock it again

You're only allowed to use as many Pokémon as your opponent in battle (kinda annoying to save before any "challenging" battle). Set, not switch. Must keep a 12 Pokémon rotation where one can't exceed four levels of the other (if using exp share)... can only use single stage mons (no legends), mono type team challenge... idk, there's prolly something interesting in there.

Do a run where you have to catch one mon from every route, if you want to make it harder for yourself catch one shiny from each route. I guarentee you will want to quit but when you actually get the shiny it will be so gratifying.

I'd say wondertrade run, since for me, Hoenn dex is played out atm.
But be careful, it's easy to get op mons that make the run feel pointless.

Do a baby run or a NFE run. Gets annoying pressing B after most battles but the challenge is worth it.
I'm currently doing a NFE run with Abra, Cosplay Pikachu, Vigoroth, Torchic, planning on adding Feebas and Snorunt to the team, using a Zigzagoon as HM slave/filler.
