I was going to say "no that is too soon" but realized we are getting pretty close to the release.
Didn't SM's demo come out in mid october

The demo came out november 18, 2016 and cost 39.99. hope you enjoyed it :')

2 weeks or something like that before release of S/M, I think. There was events stretching over 12 days or something then a wait of 5 or 6 days till launch day.

Now that people have access to homebrew thanks to RPGwnhax and got a back up for it, and thanks to datamining from the past few demos, it's safe to assume they'll play it safe

The SM datamine didn't reveal that much actually. If the same kind of info is going to be revealed from the USUM datamine we'll know if there are new Megas or Alola forms, but not their stats or abilities, nor we'll know the availability of tutor moves or any other information.

I hope not. Pokemon demos were honestly awful and dataminers leaked the dex before the actual games were even released.
