Got to Sunnyshore then kinda stopped playing and haven't felt like getting back, I get bored in these games once the team has come together. I'm pleased with my HM management, last time I played gen4 I used a couple mules but this time I kept it mostly to the main party

I thought it would be fun keeping Piplup the whole time but even with Blizzard and Hydro Pump he can't keep up and it feels like the rest of the team is babysitting him most of the time. Still not gonna evolve it though

I forgot Leafeon didn't get Leaf Blade until 70, how did anyone think this was a good idea? Also I wish it got Technician, considering the moveset I settled on- Razor Leaf, Rock Smash, Aerial Ace, and Quick Attack would be perfect for it

I gave Weavile Cut for basically no reason as it stopped being relevant by the time I caught it, but all I needed was Ice Punch and Night Slash anyway so it's fine. It's pretty stupid that if you want Night Slash then the only ice move it'll naturally learn is Icy Wind, and even if you hold out all you get is Ice Shard. Good thing Platinum has tutors I guess

Used Magmortar last trip to Sinnoh so I went with Rapidash this time. Don't hate it but not in love with it either. I wonder if the name Gallop sounds less stupid to Japanese players

I feel like I used Togekiss in another game but I don't quite remember. This thing's even bulkier than I expected. Considered using Drifloon as my Flyer but I kept forgetting to go back to the windmill. Maybe next time

And finally Garchomp. I've used it before but it's sort of a tradition for me to always have a dragon on the team. It's overleveled because I needed it to evolve to learn Surf, so that Piplup would only need one HM (waterfall). It's also got Rock Climb (why so many HMs, gen4) and I contemplated Strength as well but I stuck that on Rapidash so chomp could get dual STAB

All in all I like the team I ended up with, too bad Platinum isn't as good as I remember it being.
Or maybe i'm just old...
