I seen people pokemon to yo kai watch, digimon or monster Hunter stories etc
I don't like the genre but I love pokemon. Maybe it's nosalgia but seems like Pokemon is only rpg i enjoy playing. I hate grinding. I rather play fifa or a shooter

My friends try to get me into other games like Monster Hunter but I just stick to Pokemon. I also play Yu-Gi-Oh but just Duel Links nowadays since the real game is too sped up and text-cluttered for me to enjoy it.

I find that PMD hits that sweet spot between a turn-based RPG and a real-time game. It's still turn-based, but it's very good at tricking you into believing it isn't. I can't play the main series games at all after PMD.

I've been playing Yugioh since it came out, and I just can't enjoy Duel Links. Something about it feels off.

Maybe I should play this

Skills make the game a lot more fun and interesting. The big barriers to entry for me were the grinding necessary to increase stages and getting used to stuff like no MP2, but since I had played from the beginning of its release and don't have to play catch-up it wasn't that big a deal and I'm happy with where I currently am in the game. The other enjoyable thing was that they dropped the power creep all the way to the ground and so it's got another maybe 2 years till I drop it (which will be around when they add Xyz). Partway through Xyz was when things got too ridiculous for me, and I stopped playing altogether during Pendulums.

Honestly, if you even hate other monster collecting games, it might just be nostalgia. Try playing the spinoffs like >>33513942
said (except not the RPG-based ones, obviously)
