Which region has the best Elite Four? Who is your favorite E4 member?

I personally like the diversity in Sinnoh E4, their teams and movesets in general in Platinum.

It's hard to pick a favourite, but Karen, Glacia, Aaron, Caitlin and Kahili are in my list.

Gen IV if we're talking about platinum

Otherwise gen III was my favorite

Gen 5 has the best set of Gym Leaders and Elite 4 since they have a life outside being a gym leader/e4

In terms of team composition, probably Platinum. If you count rematches, then HGSS. In terms of memorability, Alola.

lore/character wise gen 4. you get to see lucian and flint outside of the elite four and as stated by another anon that's pretty rare. Elite four usually get the shaft when it comes to character building. though I'm still salty that I can't get past lucian's galade in my most recent sinnoh run.
Design wise: unova elite four. I like 3/4 of them, and that's saying something since most gens I only like 2/4 of the elite four from a purely aesthetic standpoint.

Unova, I hate how they only have four Pokémon in the story battle, though.
I don't like important NPCs using the same Pokémon from a family multiple times, unless it's a split evolution. I'm going with Sidney.

Platinum and BW2 rematches (both normal and Challenge mode) are the best, mostly because they felt challenging. BW2 rematches wspecially, where everybody had 6 Pokemon, held items and diverse movepools.

But my favorites are Malva and Kahili. Malva feels like the most interesting E4 member, if only because she is a Team Flare member. I'm disappointed that we didn't get to see her before the League, though, because it would be surprising if we meet her before and learn that she's both a Team Flare and E4 member. She and Kahili are hot af, though.

I kind of wish E4 characters would get more attention in the games. Most of them are uninteresting and wasted potential.

i liked that gen 2 had bruno, koga, and lance return and beyond that karen and will were good characters
platinum is still the hardest i think but mostly because of how the teams only LOOSELY share a type (like aarons drapion) and cynthias battle. caught me off guard at first

I think the Kalos Elite Four has the potential to be a really good Elite Four, but they don't get upgraded teams.
If they had full teams, with a mega (they all got megas in the anime except Drasna), they'd be really good. There are enough Pokemon of each type in the dex to flesh out their teams, and their designs are cool as fuck.

Faves from each gen are Agatha, Will, Phoebe, Aaron, Caitlin, Siebold and Olivia; Siebold overall
