How was it for BW2? Did GF also withhold concrete info until the last two months before launch? I do remember PWT being announced in CoroCoro, but I don't remember how early it was.

Unless we get an announcement soon, I could see the games being delayed. If the Switch games are also being postponed until 2018, I don't think GF sees many downsides in doing so aside from missing the holiday season.

According to the dates he put for the pictures, we got Marlon, Roxie, Hugh, the player characters and Aspertia City in April, as well as some details on the Dex expansion. We got Cheren, Bianca, PWT, and PokeStar Studios the month after. The next month, Keldeo's Resolute Forme, Join Avenue, medals, Team Plasma, Elesa, Ghetsis, some of the plot, and the Therians.

It's difficult to introduce new cities like B2W2 to USUM because Alola is small. Not much room for expansion sorry.

But, this game could become the next Platinum. You never know.

Conflicted. Given little info, and essentially the same main characters makes me think this will be a typical emerald/platinum third version.

However GF hasn't done such a thing since platinum, so I really really hope this is more akin to bw2. But again that doesn't seem to be the case since it's not a sequel.

I just hope they add more alolan forms, maybe a minor post game visit/vacation to kanto, and tons more characters for the champion and battle tree fights.

Just please for the love of good make playing the cartridge better than playing Showdown

I might just skip this game if I have to play Breeding Simulator because GF won't implement customizable IV's/Natures.

What? No. PWT was announced 1 month before BW2 were released. And we only got actual info like the frozen Unova map, Colress, Hugh, Roxie, Marlon etc. 2 months before release.

At this point during BW2's pre-release we basically only had the new Kyurem forms and the game's titles.
