Most efficent way to catch mons in the safari zone in gen i? I don't remember it being so hard.
Haha git gud. But you can just turn around without wasting any steps while encountering pokemon.

Play Red/Blue and just catch them off the coast of Cinnabar

>>33479397
This. Just use the glitch to catch them on Cinnabar.

PKHeX

>>33479417
playing yellow, this glitch is also there?
>>33479432
Nope, works only in Red and Blue.
>>33479450
There is a means in Pokemon Yellow, but it is a lot more complicated.
>>33479364
just throw balls and cross your fingers. that's it, there is no strategy or skill involved
or yeah, use the cinnabar glitch
safari zone was awful. neat idea, but awful
>>33479475
so no baits or rocks? That cunt chaensey won't enter that fucking ball.
>>33479516
you can use them but in the end its all just rng and more often than not you're just wasting your time with them
>>33479516
Just keep going. Eventually you'll catch one. Just a couple of days ago I managed to catch a Tauros on my first encounter even though they're usually a fucking bitch to catch.
>>33479516
Think of missing as a level below not shaking at all. Just because you miss doesn't mean you won't eventually hit.

Someone calced it out and found that overall, using bait or rocks decreases your chances of success. Just throwing balls gives the best odds.
The Safari Zone was never good.
