Tbh, gen 6 has better designs that gen 7. Gen 7, at least in terms of Pokemon, is very generic. I mean, if they weren't official, I'd think they were fakemon that lack that typical Pokemon Spark.

But this isn't about Pokemon, this is about NPCs.
And is it just me, or doGen 6 have an exuberant amount of NPCs with ordinary hair color? To me, that makes them generic. I like my anime hues. Most of Gen 6's NPCs are boring, except the redheads and special exceptions (pic related of course).
