I worked with a friend of mine 11 days, kind of nonstop, at a plastic industry 3 months ago. To get through the life killing experience, we agreed to play/lan silver and gold with another friend 3 days straight when we were finished.
We didnt even make it to the third gym, and i got sick of it catching magnemites for a metal coat.

There's a glitch but you won't be able to import the thing. Unlike Mew where you can alter the I.D, Celebi was only catchable in crystal so GS born ones will get blocked.

Nah I didn't have money when those came out. My time with Johto pokemon was exclusively through Colosseum. I'll keep all that in mind though I'll probably transfer most pokemon to another game before breeding since I don't usually make a team with egg moves till postgame.

How will it be? These things are emulated in the exact same manner as they originally worked and they didn't fix any bugs in Gen 1 so they won't likely do that to Gen 2 either.

If anything it'll be easier since it'll be easier to judge if you've done it at the right moment since touching the screen pauses the emulation and if it's right you can just reset from there rather than turning everything on and off.

Gen 2 always had shit tier distributions. There are too many Kanto mons in Johto, and too many Johto mons locked in the Kanto post game. Things like Houndour, Murkrow, Slugma, and Larvitar should not be received so early.
