The interviewer tried to confirm, "so you think Pokemon Go is the best way to do freeform Pokemon?" and they just said that it's one way to do it, before going on to say how much they like the way Zelda does things, and if they could come up with a way to do Pokemon in that type of setting, then it's possible, because they think you would have to change things about Pokemon for that style of game.
