Has anyone noticed that pokemon games have been losing features and gaining shitty versions of those features? It's getting kind of annoying how each generation loses a feature (or is replaced) then people try to justify it by saying its because of money.
It's retarded to think anything is due to a lack of money. Pokémon is arguably the largest media franchise in the world. They have nearly infinite money. They literally just choose to not spend it on the video games because they just don't care to; nothing else.
This has been going on since gen 3 when R/S/E lacked a proper day/night system. You're only noticing it now because it's become blatantly obvious.
Nah i definetly noticed. It was when they had no vs recorder in the later generations ive realized that the directors each either have different visions for each game or they don't bother to code the features to fit into the games and are pretty lazy to even try.
Unless it's from a business perspective (which might i remind you is stupid because after a couple years these games arent in stores anymore.) and they want people to purchase games based on those single used features. It's like they can't decide on what they want to keep and just throw stuff out at random.
Though if i actually think about it the gaming systems (the 3ds) do suck in terms of what can be held like triple battles and 3d rendering in those battles. Yeah theyre kind of lazy.
