I'll believe you if Nintendo whips out a Titanic 2018 Title that's guaranteed to print money worldwide. Otherwise, Gen 8's gonna have to fill that void.

It's not a fucking pattern meme. The reason Gens are designed to last that length is so they can shell out as much merch, toys, TCG sets, anime episodes, and movies as possible. Look at how much of what I just listed has been produced compared to Gen VI. They're not going to cuck themselves out of sales just to fill your imaginary void.

Super Mario Odyssey is coming out this holiday season which will blur into 2018 sales, and that will do big numbers for Nintendo. And I'm willing to bet Prime 4 comes out late 2018.

This is one of the reasons why I think we'll get dp remakes or something like that on the 3ds before the switch game or a one year break.

there gonna announce gen 8. 9 months before release. like gen 6 and gen 7. USUM release should last 2-3 months. than wait 11-12 months for Gen 8 announcement. why are pokemon so eager for yearly releases and rushed games. its like call of duty or something.

They said Switch game is planned for 2018 or in bad case scenario for 2019. That means that 2018 is in plans either way. Which also means they cant plan 2 main games for 2 different consoles in 2018
